Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to assist in building and executing our digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media, design trends, and marketing best practices. This role offers hands-on experience in event marketing, social media management, and content creation. Key Responsibilities: • Devise and maintain a weekly/monthly social posting schedule for: o Events HOSTED: Develop posts to promote and recap events we organize. o Events ATTENDED: Strategically share content relevant to external events. o Ensure all posts align with event schedules, sharing content within a relevant timeframe. • Select and curate 10-photo carousels from hosted events for posting on Instagram, ensuring each post is engaging and reflects the event’s essence. • Organize and upload event photo galleries to Google Drive for easy attendee access, linking them through our LinkTree on Instagram. • Schedule and post content at optimal days and times based on Instagram’s algorithm to maximize engagement. • Design trend-based and visually appealing flyers for hosted events, working closely with Jocelyn to ensure the aesthetic reflects desired brands such as Black Market Flea and See You Soon. Qualifications: • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram. • Basic design skills (experience with Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus). • Ability to understand and implement social media trends and algorithm changes. • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
