Description
The Guided Compass Business Development Intern will report directly to the Founder and CEO of Guided Compass. Guided Compass is a web app that powers career education, career readiness, and workforce programs. As a Business Development Intern, you will primarily focus on strategies and tactics to increase revenue through acquiring clients. Business Development Intern Responsibilities: - Develop and edit business development strategy documents - Generate sales and nurture sales leads - Set up meetings / software demos with target customers - Experiment with different sales/marketing channels (e.g., email, events) - Identify and nurture distribution partnership opportunities - Measure success and experiment to identify the ideal onboarding flow(s) - Use Generative A.I. as a thought partner and content creator Requirements: - College student or graduate; - Strong writing skills - Strong verbal and communications skills - Interest and comfort in building new relationships and nurturing existing ones - Strong initiative - Highly resourceful - Strong at creative problem solving Nice to haves: - Interest in the education, career development, and software industries - Strong interest in entrepreneurship - Background in developing basic software (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Digital product management experience
