Description

We are excited to add a social media marketing intern to our small, but mighty team! This role will navigate an ever-changing, engaging non-profit environment with the goal of expanding our current social media & education engagement strategies. There will be an opportunity to explore the components of building a brand presence in the non-profit/philanthropic organization space & with the community directly. Who You Are: Passionate about & embodies active, anti-racist allyship alongside diversity, equity & inclusion within the personal, professional, and public sphere Excited about curating inclusive virtual spaces & engaging community Passion for informative storytelling Execution driven critical thinker with strong attention to detail Clear & confident communicator with a collaborative mindset Open to new ideas and handles constructive feedback with a learners approach Self-starter who thrives in a remote-work environment with virtual collaboration Key Roles & Responsibilities: Social media management, planning, and execution Collaborate and assist with strategic targeted media outreach Proficient to advanced graphic design skills (advanced preferred) Social media calendar ownership/tracking Community engagement (primarily Instagram) Beginner to proficient level trend & market research Data analysis & aggregation Ongoing Tasks: Social media quantitative analytics management Weekly to bi-weekly tracking & reporting Trend highlights Assist in content curation Informative graphics holiday/cultural moment features Content ideation & proposals Collect potential social partnership opportunities Growth Projects: Primary Creation of holistic social calendar Transitioning education pieces to digestible graphics Secondary Develop & propose Twitter re-introduction strategy Conduct user interviews & research This role will report into one of the Co-founders leading marketing & community engagement.
